Indooroopilly Toastmasters is a community Club that can assist you to develop your listening, speaking and thinking skills in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment.

The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn fosters self- confidence and personal growth.

We meet every 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday of the month @ 6.45 for 7pm at University of Queensland, St Lucia campus. The meetings conclude by 9pm with a yummy supper at 8pm.

Learning any new skill takes time, dedication and perseverance. And the best thing about Toastmasters is that you can do this all in an atmosphere of a positive learning environment. You will hear experienced Toastmasters- remember they have had plenty of support from club members and started their public speaking journey just like you- attending a Toastmasters meeting for the first time!

Ralph Smedley, founder of Toastmasters maintained that “people learn best whilst enjoying themselves” and the success of this philosophy is demonstrated in the fun times we have at Indooroopilly Toastmasters.
